Dixie Winterfest is an extension of the Southern Utah A.A. Dixie Central Office.

The Dixie Winterfest Committee hosts an A.A. fundraiser/convention every Winter in February to support the Dixie Central Office of Southern Utah

In 1997, A couple of drunks thought that it would be a great idea to have an A.A. Central Office in Southern Utah. The closest office was located some 300 + miles away in the Salt Lake City area. With A.A. meetings growing in the Southern Utah area, the need was there.

In the Winter of 1998 The Dixie Winterfest Committee hosted their first A.A. fundraiser/convention. It takes place once a year, usually near the end of February. With Southern Utah 's mild winters, this has been a favorite winter retreat for many. It's purpose was, and still is, to raise funds to support the new Dixie Central Office of Southern Utah

Every year this fund-raiser/ AA convention has grown from around 200 the first year to approximately 500 as of the last convention. People come from all over the U.S., and some even have visited us from Canada . It has been very successful.

Slogans/Logos: The smiley sun, and "Fun in the Sun" have been our trademark slogan and logo from the beginning.

The Dixie Central Office as been a great asset to the A.A. of Southern Utah and the community.
